Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan is in the starting lineup for Kayserispor in their Turkish Cup game against Altay Izmir at the Kadir Has Stadium this evening.

Gyan netted in the league over the weekend against Akhisar Belediyespor when he replaced Umut Bulut in the 70th minute and he has now been rewarded with a starting berth.

The Ghanaian striker has already netted one goal in two Turkish Cup appearances for Kayserispor this season and he will be hoping to add to his tally.

Fellow Ghanaian Bernard Mensah is suspended for the match due to accumulation of cards.
