Black Meteros striker Owusu Kwabena (jersey no.9) was the producer of a bold performance against Togo on a pleasant Tuesday afternoon at the Babayara sports stadium as Ghana took a big advantage in the first leg of their 2019 CAF U-13 Africa Cup of Nations qualification tie.
Ghana won 5-1 and the skillful forward alone accounted for 60% of the goals.
The striker who plays for Spanish club Salamanca CF on loan from CD Leganés opened the scoring with a sumptuous finish in the 18th minute. He took a ball on the left side and ran at the Togo defence, dribbling two players before realizing a screamer from outside the box as the home fans greeted the effort with an applause.
The talented player however went missing for majority part of the game following his opening goal but raised his performance after the break to wreak more havoc as he completed his hat trick with quick-fire goals in the 72nd and 73rd minutes.
Not only did Owusu score three goals but the 21-year old exhibited some great dribbling skills and was the player that excited the few fans at the Babayara stadium the most.
