Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah will play no part when Kayserispor tarvel to Kazım Karabekir Stadium to face Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor in the final game of the first round of the Turkish Superlig on December 23.
Mensah, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid has been key for Kayserispor this season but he has been suspended for the game this weekend due to accumulation of cards according to a release by the Turkish FA on Monday.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder was booked in the 87th minute as his side beat Akhisar Belediyespor 1-0 on Sunday. The card was Mensah’s fourth this campaign and he has to serve one game suspension.
His absence will likely affect Kayserispor but they can count on the likes of Asamoah Gyan and Umut Bulut to deliver.
