Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko will invite seven foreign-based players as he seeks to beef up his team ahead of the 2019 Under 23 AFCON qualifier with Togo.
The Meteors were hammered 3-0 by Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra Hearts of Oak and Tanko wants to improve his team with the European-based players ahead of the qualifiers.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands that Tanko has called Majeed Ashimeru (FC St. Gallen), Gideon Mensah (FC Liefering), Isaac Twum (IK Start), Emmanuel Lomotey (Villareal), Joseph Paintsil (KRC Genk), Kingsley Fobi (UD Ibiza) and Nuhu Musah FC St. Gallen.
In form Sparta Praque striker Benjamin Tetteh was also invited but he will not be able to make it because of injury.
Ghana will face Togo in Lome on December 18th in the first leg.
