Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman is likely to leave German club Schalke 04 in January.
The 24-year-old joined Schalke last year on loan from Chelsea with the hope of regaining regular first team action.
This was after the Ghana international had recovered from a career-threatening injury.
And after a bright start, Baba has been limited to only two Bundesliga appearances as he continues to be frozen out under manager Domenico Tedesco.
Agents of the former Augbsurg man have been in touch with some European clubs over a move.
They however need the consent of Baba’s parent club, Chelsea to make the move happen.
Roma are said to be keen on the Ghanaian likewise a mystery clubs in England and Turkey.
Baba is however said to be only keen on joining a club where he will be assured of regular first team action.
The former Dreams FC player has endured a torrid spell with a knee injury sustained while playing for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
He has since struggled to hit the heights that once made him one of the leading young prospects in world football.
