The Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have donated items to the playing body as they step up their preparations for the CAF Confederations Cup.
Kotoko will face Kenyan outfit Kariobangi Sharks next weekend in the second knockout phase game of the competition after a walkover in the first round.
The Porcupine Warriors walloped Inter Allies by three goals to nothing in a trial game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday Afternoon and their Operations Manager presented items to them on behalf of the GARCC as an effort to aid their preparations.
“We are very happy with the performance they put up today. I am confident we are on track to achieving our target in the Confederation Cup. But, they must be focused and prevent distractions”.Deputy Chairman In-charge of Operations, Kwaku Edusei stated.
“We have been with the team since they began camping here and have done a lot to assist in their preparations. What we are giving them now is just a small addition.”
