The Ghana international striker and captain of the Black Stars saw full action against Altay Spot Kulubu on Wednesday afternoon in a Turkish Cup Round of 16 tie as Kayserispor won 2-1 on the turf of the Altay.

The two teams will meet between 18 and 20 December for the reverse leg at Kayserispor.

The former Al Ain striker played the whole duration of the game as the league side edged out the home team but Gyan could not add onto his goals tally this season.

Gyan has scored 2 goals this season for his club and both goals came in the Cup competition as the 33-year old visibly lacking physical fitness is yet to score in the league proper.
