Los Angeles FC winger Latif Blessing says there was a time in his life he wanted to quit football to become a taxi driver when he was rejected by Kotoko.
According to the former Liberty Professional attacker he nearly gave up on his dream after the Porcupine Warriors rejected him.
“I went to Kotoko for trial after someone recommended me to them . For two days, they didn’t even let me train but what broke my heart was, the jersey I wore was taken from me and given to another player so I had to sit bare chested. I regretted and thought I wasn’t good enough so told my mum to buy a taxi for me to drive”. he said on Atinka TV.
Latif Blessing has since moved on. He won the Ghana Premier league top scorer award with Liberty Professional in the 2016 season with 17 goals and now plies his trade in the States.
