Simba FC coach, Patrick Aussems has lauded the output of Ghanaian enforcer James Kotei and others as they went away to thrash Mbabane Swallows by four goals to nothing in the CAF Champions League.
Kotei and his colleagues were in their elements as they played total attacking game to demolish the Swaziland-based club.
From their training sessions before the game, Kotei was the fulcrum of the side as he started all their attacks deep from midfield and he reciprocated that in the main game as they humiliated Swallows at the Mavuso Sports Centr Stadium on Tuesday night.
“I said that we won’t come here to defend and protect the result… Players understood the plan very well and made a great performance ! Proud of you guys but that’s only the first step.” Aussems stated after the game.
“Our midfield was solid and James (Kotei) was very efficient as he started most of the attacks,”
Kotei has been one of the star players for the Tanzanian club this season and he will be the main main in midfield as they eye qualification to the champions league group stages.
