The organizer of the ongoing Unity GH Inter Community Gala, Ernest Boakye says the tournament has already been a success.
According to Boakye, attendance has been overwhelming and the main aim of organizing the competition is gradually being achieved.
“I can say the attendance has been good, as you can see, the whole place is full up. The motive is to foster unity among all the Zongo communities,” Boakye told footballmadeinghana.com
“As many as sixteen teams are competing, and great talents are been exhibited. Some scouts are here to look for players. Over the past four years of its existence, we have been able to churn out five players who are now playing outside,”
“Our main challenge is sponsorship, I wish to call on the companies and individuals to come to our aid and sponsor the event,”
The match day four game saw Bawaasa defeating Westlands by two goals to nothing at the Kokomlemle Panama Park. Yahaya Evra and Kenneth Asare got the goals for the winning side.
