The former Techiman City goalkeeper has confirmed he has ended his two year contract with the Sogakope -based club.
West African Football Academy goalkeeper Richmond Ayi has confirmed to FootballmadeinGhana.com that his two-year contract with the club has run out completely.
“I have ended my contracts with WAFA. I want to thank the management of the club, the technical team and the playing body for helping me throughout my stay at the club. Is time to move on and explore other opportunities ”
The 21-year one old was brought on to replace Razak Abalora who moved to Azam FC two seasons ago and went on to establish himself as number one goalkeeper.
Meanwhile according to FootballmadeinGhana.com sources WAFA refused to offer Ayi an improved deal and therefore the player took the decision to leave.
