The Under 17 side of Ghanaian club West Africa Football Academy (WAFA)have landed in Cote D’Ivoire to take part in the 2018 Tournoi International Du District Autonome D’Abidjan tournament.
The tournament which seeks to unearth talents for foreign scouts and club will see various teams from the sub-region battling for supremacy.
Aside the idea of bringing out talents, the winner will also take home a glittering trophy and an unspecified amount of money.
The youth teams of ASEC Abidjan, ASFA Yenega, Africa Sports, AC Horoya and several others will feature in the competition.
WAFA who are being handled by budding coach Sadiq Abubakar will face Ivoire FC at the Parc Des Sports this evening (Wednesday) in their first game.
