Ghana international Abubakar Lalas has extended his contract with MLS Columbus Crew SC.

Abubakar’s two-year contract was scheduled to end next month but he will now be available for the 2019 campaign after extending his deal.

Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal that Abubakar signed the dotted lines on Tuesday after fruitful talks between both parties.

Abubakar was signed by Columbus Crew from Dayton Flyers in 2016 after excelling in the University games.

The former University of Ghana student played 23 MLS games for Columbus Crew this ended season scoring one goal and providing one assist.
