Samartex FC have announced that they have appointed former Bechem United head coach, Bismark Kobby Mensah as their new head coach.
The Division One League Club called it quit with Steven Abugri months ago and has now appointed the former Nzema Kotoko coach to take over.

1996 FC Samartex is pleased to announce that Mr Bismark Kobi-Mensah has agreed to join the club as it’s first Team coach.
In this capacity, Bismark Kobi-Mensah will be in charge of all the Technical aspect of the club. Announcing his appointment, Managing Director Mr Richard Nsenkyire Kwaku Duah commented: ” Bismark Kobi-Mensah is the right man at the right time to lead and execute our OPERATION PREMIER VISION.
First and foremost he has all the personal qualities we were looking for in a leader, Communication skills, work ethic, integrity, attention to detail, and incredibly high standards of professionalism. Add to that his rich experiences in the game as a player and a coach , his understanding of the Ghana Division one League, comfort with modern coaching and attacking football, make him the ideal fit.
Bismark Kobi-Mensah will officially begin his 2 year contract on Tuesday 27th November 2018. The club would like to thank Alex Eshun for his dedicated service to the club after mutual agreement between FC Samartex and coach Abugri” they stated in the release.
