Ghana youth international Emmanuel Adjei Sowah will stay in Anderlecht despite being sidelined for over three months with an injury.
Sowah, 20, has just seven months left on his existing contract but he could get a contract extension with manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck having strong believe in him.
According to Belgian tabloid Le Capitale, a new deal will be on the table for Sowah as it has already been discussed by the parties involved.
“Sowah is still out of contention for three months with an injury, at RSCA they believe in him and will not let him go. His contract is coming to an end but it has already been discussed and a new contract is possible,”
The former Ghana Black Starlets defender joined Anderlecht from Dreams FC in January 2016 and was promoted to the senior team after just one season.
He has played ten times for the Purple and Whites main team.
