The Brave Warriors of Namibia defeated Black  Stars B on penalties to lift the Dr Hage Geingob Cup at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The international friendly match was attended and graved by President Hage Geingob himself as Ghana and Namibia produced a spectacle in from of a big crowd in Windhoek.

The two teams had drawn 1-1 after 90 minutes as Ashanti Gold striker Shafiu Mumuni scored to equalize for Maxwell Konadu’s side after going down by a Muna Katupose goal in the first period.

Mumuni, who had a great first season for Obuasi-side in the first round of the Ghana premier league headed home the equalizer but the Namibians were more precise in the ensuing spot kicks.
