Ghana will face Mexico in the quarter finals of the 2018 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.

The Black Maidens maintained their 100% record at the finals with a 2-0 win over New Zealand on Tuesday.

This saw the Ghana team finish as winners of Group A with a perfect record of three wins.

Ghana will now face Mexico in the first knockout stage of the competition on Sunday while New Zealand who finished as Group A runner’s up will face Japan.
