Ghana has made two changes to its lineup for the second group game of the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations against Mali.
Captain Elizabeth Addo drops to the bench and is replaced by Grace Asantewaa while Jane Ayieyam also replaces Samira Suleman.
Both players, in particular Suleman looked out of sort in the slim win over Algeria in the opening group fixture.
Asantewaa and Ayieyam who made an impact when they came on have been rightfully given a starting berth against Mali.
Portia Boakye captains the team in the absence of Addo.
Ghana is looking to secure early qualification into the semi finals of the tournament with a win over Mali who are also chasing their first point(s) of the tournament following their 2-1 defeat to Cameroon.
