Black Maidens attacker Mukarama Abdulai is glad following his man of the match award against Uruguay.

The budding forward hit a hat-trick as Ghana humiliated the South American by five goals to nothing in the ongoing FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup.

Mukarama who was the star at the Estadio Charrúa, Montevideo says she is content with her award and their prime target is to lift the ultimate.

“I am very very excited for this opportunity and winning the best player in the first match,” she stated after the game.

“Our aim at this world cup was to win our first match and to look forward to our other games. So, I am very very happy and excited,”

The Northern Ladies striker became the first Ghanaian female player to score thrice in a single game at a FIFA World Cup.
