Universitatea Craiova defender Isaac Donkor is ready to honor an invitation from Ghana if he is considered.
The versatile guardsman has been in fine form in the Romanian League this season as Craiova sit third on the league log.
The youngster maintains it will be a mission-fulfilled if he makes Ghana’s team for the 2019 AFCON.
“That will be a dream come true. I will really be happy to represent my country. But like I said earlier, if it’s my time, no one will stop me. I will surely make it.” he told 442gh.
Donkor, 23 honed his talent at the Inter Milan Primavera team where he was the skipper. He made his Nerazurri debut in the Europa League on 22 November 2012 against FC Rubin Kazan in Russia before subsequently being shipped on loan to Bari, Avellino and Cesena.
The enterprising youngster signed permanently for Cesena last season playing 29 games and scoring one goal before joining Craiava in June 2018.
