Ghana v Algeria

Kick off : 3.30PM (Ghana time)

After nearly a week of training in the Ivory Coast the women’s national team of Algeria left the Francophone African country on Tuesday for Ghana’s capital town Accra to take part in the African Women Cup of Nations.

The Algerian delegation was led by Mr. Rachid Gasmi and Mr. Ammar Bahloul and arrived in Accra around 18:30GMT yesterday.

The team was welcomed by her Excellency the Ambassador of Algeria Delileche Youssef.

Algeria are placed in the same Group A as Ghana, Mali and Cameroon.

The Greens will start their competition on 17 November at 5.30pm against Ghana in an opening match that promises to be exciting.
