President of New Edubiasie, Abdul Salam Yakubu has backed former Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi to appeal the life ban handed to him by FIFA.

Nyantakyi communicated on Wednesday that he will be going to CAS to seek redress after world football governing body FIFA gave him the ban and Salam has urged him on to go all out.

“I’m happy Kwasi Nyantakyi is going to CAS to seek redress. He need to fight and clear his name”Abdul Salam Yakubu told Asempa FM.

“Kwasi Nyantakyi’s life ban came as a shock to me.” he added.

The life ban could be reduced to a number of years if Nyantakyi is able to argue his case well.
