Medeama have released midfielder Theophilus Nyame after just a year in their fold.

The Mauves and Yellow officially announced on Tuesday that they are parting ways with the midfielder after an uninspiring season.

Nyame struggled upon his return from Ashanti Gold on loan and only saw twenty minutes of action in over 25 games.

In a statement by the Tarkwa-based side Today (Tuesday), they thanked Nyame and wished him well in his future outings.

“Medeama have parted ways with midfielder Theophilus Nyame,” the statement indicated.

“The club would like to wish him well in his future endeavour.”

Nyame has also featured for Hasaacas and Kumasi Asante Kotoko
