Experienced Ghanaian enforcer Reuben Ayarna is glad with KuPs Europa League qualification for next season .
KuPs defeated IFK Mariehamn 2-1 over the weekend at the Wiklof Holding Arena to cement their third position and also book the final Europa League spot for next season.
Ayarna, 33, joined KuPs in August this year from SJK Seinäjoki and has been a revelation in the middle of the pitch for Jani Honkavaara’s side with some superb performances.
The Ghanaian midfielder pointed out that he is excited with the output of his team as they will be playing in Europe next year.
“Glory be to God for making that possible!! Of course is a great feeling to be part of a team like the KuPs and also playing your part to lead the team to 3rd place and thus qualifying for Europa next season.” Ayarna told footballmadeinghana.com
“Despite joining the team late, I was able to integrate very fast think because of how welcoming the guys were and also the fact that the coach already knew who I am so he didn’t try to change my game. His system fits my game so thank God it was an easy transition.”
The Ghanaian international made ten league appearances for KuPs scoring one goal.
