Scouts of English Premier League side Southampton as well as Scottish champions Celtic will watch Ghana striker Richmond Boakye this evening when Liverpool welcome Red Star Belgrade to Anfield in the UEFA Champions League Group C clash.
Boakye rejoined Red Star in July after an unsuccessful spell in China and he has burst back to life scoring five goals in four games for the Serbian Reds.
The Ghanaian attacker is on the wanted list of a host of clubs in Europe but Southampton and Celtic are leading the race to land his signature.
Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal that Soouthampton boss Mark Hughes have instructed his scouts to be at Anfield and watch Boakye whilst he will also watch the game on Television to see if the player fits in his scheme of things.
Also, Celtic boss Brendan Rogers who is desperately looking for a striker have already sent his entourage to Merseyside to look at the Ghanaian attacker this evening.
What ever be the case, it is likely Boakye will land in UK this winter as the striker claimed last earlier this month in an interview that he is in talks with certain English and Scottish clubs.
