Ghanaian midfielder Basiru Alhassan has arrived in England with his Sparta Prague teammates for the Premier League International Cup.
The 18-year-old who joined the Czech Republic giants last month from Dreams FC has been drafted into the Sparta youth team for the competition.
Sparta will play their first group game of the tournament on Wednesday evening against Reading.
They will then face Feyenoord and Leicester City in their subsequent group games.
The Premier League International Cup is an annual tournament organized by the Premier League for U23 teams across Europe.
Twenty four clubs with 12 being English compete in the competition.
The group winners, and two best runners-up, progress into the knockout phase of the tournament.
