Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh insists he is not bothered about scoring goals in so far as Sparta Prague keeps winning.
The 21-year-old hit his second brace of the current campaign in Sparta’s 4-1 thrashing of Mlada Boleslav on Monday night.
Tetteh’s goals extended his tally to seven in 12 games in the Superliga.
Despite being in the hunt for the top goalscorer award, the former Ghana U20 star remains adamant his only priority is to see his team win.
“I’m really happy to score two goals again and I’m also happy for the team to return to winning ways because the last two games we lost,” he said after the game.
“It can happen [not scoring]. I don’t really mind because if the team is winning I am happy for the team and I don’t care about myself.”
The win sees Sparta return to third in the league four points adrift leaders Slavia Prague.
