AC Horoya defender Godfred Asante is confident that new coach Patrice Neveu can add something to the team.
Horoya reached the quarter finals of this year’s CAF champions league before being mauled 4-0 by Al Ahly in Egypt after drawing the first leg.
Asante insists he has heard a lot about Neveu and he is confident that he can take Horoya a step further.
“I heard Patrice Neveu was once the national team coach of Guinea Conakry. I have not met him before but I think he is a good Coach that’s why my team offered him the job” Asante told footballmadeinghana.com
“We are hoping for the best and as members of the playing body, next year we want to go far in Africa.”
Horoya currently have five Ghanaian players namely Godfred Asante, Brefo Mensah, Sebe Baffour Kyei, Mandela Ocansey and newly-acquired Patrick Razak.
