Ghana international Solomon Wiafe Asante was once again on top of his game as Phoenix Rising FC dispatched Portland Timbers by three goals to nothing in the Western Conference Quarterfinals of the 2018 USL Cup Playoffs.

Asante was adjudged the USL official man of the match for his all-round stupendous performance which saw him netting a 90th minute goal.

The Ghanaian completed an overwhelming 30 of 35 passes and supplied two dangerous passes to the Timbers penalty box.

Asante has been Phoenix star man this season netting 14 goals in 33 appearances and has already won his club’s player of the season.

He is expected to play a key role when Phoenix Rising FC face the winner of the Sacramento Republic FC / Swope Park Rangers winner in the next round.
