Midfielder Seth Opare has announced the ‘mutual termination’ of his contract at Asante Kotoko.

The former Aduana Stars player who only joined Kotoko a year ago confirmed his departure via Twitter on Saturday.

“Hello Family. I announced to you that I’ve mutually parted ways with @AsanteKotoko_SC,” he posted

“Thanks for the joy and show of love during my stay.”

It is unclear reasons for Opare’s exit but it is believed he feels he has no future at the Ghanaian giants over limited first team opportunities.
