The Ghana premier league side is threatened with massive player exodus following the death of bankroller David Cobbinah Brigidi.
Ghana football suffered the demise of the biggest financier of the Anyinase-based side club at the end of last month but according to information reaching Footballmadeinghana the club risks losing some of its key players and some members of the technical team.
Footballmadeinghana.com is reliably informed by deep-throat sources within the club that a member of the technical team is set to quit following the expiration of his contract with Karela United as he is unwilling to extend his stay at the Crosby Awuah park.
Center back Ismail Ganiyu is also set to be on his way out of Anyinase with Asante Kotoko widely reported as his most likely destination whilst midfielder Jean Vital Ourega is on the wish list of many other clubs.
Majority of the players who joined the club under Mr. Brigidi have started doubting whether things would be done as it used to be under the late bankroller.
Meanwhile Karela United would engage Ebusua Dwarfs in a friendly match on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Park.
