The President of Save African Child FC Dr. Emeka Great congratulated Asante Kotoko following the 3-1 defeat his club suffered in an international friendly against the Ghanaians giants at the Babayara stadium on Sunday but Emeka Great has identified some areas C.K Akonnor’s team has to improve.
Two own goals and a strike from former Inter Allies striker Frederick Boateng handed the home side a big win after Austin Uzo had put the visitors ahead on three minutes from the start of the game.
“Kotoko played well. They were very good. This team started in 1935 whereas Save African Child started in 2014. You can see the difference” Dre. Emeka stated.
“The Kotoko team was play but there are lot of lapses and their coach has to look at that. Most of their big name players were marked out like the one in number 28 (Naby Keita). For me he (Naby Keita) on the far right was very weak. If he was on my team he wouldn’t start the game” Dr. Emeka declared.
“They will have to look at their midfield also. There are lot of leakages in their midfield” he added.
The Burkina Faso side says they are currently embarking on African tour preparing for a tournament in Vietman that will see great South American clubs like Vasco da Gama, Corinthians and Boca Juniors participate in December this year.
