The former Asante Kotoko defender has ignited a big controversy.

Jordan Opoku is a bigger and better player than most of the Black Stars of Ghana players and this is according to former Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold defender Prince Anokye.

Black Stars take on Asante Kotoko in a friendly match on Friday at the Babayara stadium and Anokye believes there will be no stage freight against players like Jordan Opoku whom he rates ahead of many of Kwesi Apppiah’s players.

“Ever since I knew Jordan he has never lost form. He is a bigger and better player than most of the current Black Stars players” Prince Anokye told Kumasi-based Silver 98.3 FM in an exclusive interview from his base in the United Kingdom.

“Forget about the fact that he, Jordan, hasn’t played in top European leagues but he is a better player. Technically gifted. He has all the qualities” Anokye added.

“People have to respect him (Jordan). For his quality this is not where he should be” he said.
