Spokesman for Hearts of Oak Kwame Opare Addo insists the club still has a valid contact with suspended midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim.
The former King Solomon kingpin claims his contract with the Phobians have run out having been with the club for the past two years.
But spokesman for the Accra-based club is adamant the midfielder is very much a Hearts of Oak player.
“Ignorantly, People are saying Samudeen contract with Hearts of Oak is expired,” he said.
“How can we suspend a player that we don’t have a contract with?”
Samudeen Ibrahim is currently serving an indefinite suspension over claims he had persistently violated provisions in his contract.
Ibrahim joined Hearts of Oak as a marquee signing having been adjudged the best player in the Division One League two seasons ago.
