Ghana youth international Wahab Ackwei has reached personal agreement with Red Bull II for his contract to be mutually terminated.

The club officially announced that the Ghanaian is not happy due to lack of playing time and has therefore called for his contract to be abrogated.

Ackwei, joined the American second-tier side in February this year as a free agent after leaving Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies.

The budding central defender only made seven appearances for NYRB II in all competitions this season and assisted one goal.
