Spokesperson for the Normalization Committee, Dan Kwaku Yeboah has denied reports the Black Stars will engage Asante Kotoko in a friendly match.

It was earlier reported in the media that the Black Stars will play against Asante Kotoko at the Kumasi Asante Kotoko since their AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone hanged in the air but Dan Kwaku Yeboah debunked it saying it’s not true.

“As of now there has not been any arrangement of such nature to play Asante Kotoko”

“Should Sierra Leone fail to come for the match the players will return to their base and we will write to FIFA/CAF to claim reimbursement of monies spent on the players” Dan Kwaku Yeboah told Oyerepa FM.
