Black Stars coach Kwesi Appian has handed invitations to 23 players to contest the AFCON qualifying double header against Sierra Leone on 11th October in Kumasi and on 15th October for the reverse game.

One one local based player – Felix Annan of Kotoko- was selected thanks to his impressive performances for the Ghanaian club from the start of last season.

But there were still no selections for Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew and Levante striker Raphael Dwamena was not called.
