Kwaku Frimpong values Shafiu Mumuni as a very expensive player and interested buyers are alerted.

The President of Ashanti Gold SC Kwaku Frimpong “Champion” has responded to transfer reports linking Ashgold striker Shafiu Mumuni to Asante Kotoko.

The outspoken President revealed the Miners are ready to do business with any club but warns that the player will be expensive..

“If Asante Kotoko SC really want Shafiu Mumuni as  reported then they should write to us so we do business” He told Sikka fm in Kumasi.

“But they must know his price will be affected by the fact that he scored a hat trick against them only that the referee strangely disallowed one. He will not come at a cheap cost. He will be expensive” He added.

Shafiu Mumuni has been an integral part of Ashantigold since he signed for the Aboakese club in 2016 and should this transfer take place Shafiu will become the latest Miners attacker to join Asante Kotoko since Emmanuel Osei Carlos.
