Ghanaian Patrick Arthur came off the bench to be eventually adjudged Man-of-the-Match despite Angelholms’ 3-1 defeat to Skovde AIK on Sunday.
Arthur, 21 was making his debut for his new Swedish club having only arrived on Thursday from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.
The former Heart of Lions man however started from the bench but was called upon in the 38th minute to replace Alexander Engholm.
Angelholm were already down 2-0 by the time Arthur was introduced.
His energy and strength however helped to stabilize Alexander Tengryd to great effect.
Despite being on the losing side and playing as a substitute, Arthur was voted the best player in just his first game for his club.
