Division Two club Bis Paradise have donated learning materials to players of their youth team ahead of the start of the new academic year.
The donation is meant to ease the heavy financial burden on parents of their youth players in securing learning materials for their wards as they prepare to go to school.
Chairman of Bis Paradise, Michael Quarshie said: “School has reopened and we have seen that there is pressure on the parent of the kids so we decided to help by giving them some of the books, pen’s and mathematical set, we have even given some of them full set of books.
“We have told the players that it is not just playing football but adding education to it is also very important because we realized that when players sign contract they struggle and don’t know it.”
Bis Paradise is a Division Two team based in the Western Region.
