The Frenchman is gradually emerging as a formidable technical for to Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah after masterminding a victory over Ghana on the second match-day of the AFCON qualifiers.
Sebastien Migné coached the Red Devils of Congo to frustrate Ghana at the Babayara sports stadium in September last year in a World Cup qualification tie and after suffering a 5-1 annihilation by the Black Stars in front of his home fans Migné has repeated the dose in Kasarani this time with Kenya as his employers.
“Yes you can see a rivalry is emerging. He (Migné) beat Appiah in this game but he is not a better coach over Kwesi. Kwesi hammered him 5-1 last year. Don’t forget that” JE Sarpong said on Metro FM.
“So the fact that he’s won today doesn’t make technically superior” Sarpong explained.
Sarpong also backed Kwesi Appiah to bounce back in the next games.
