Ghana’s U17 team will face Cote d’Ivoire in the semi finals of the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup qualifying tournament in Niger.

This fixture was confirmed on Sunday after Ivory Coast emerged the second best team in Group B.

Ghana had secured its semi final place a day before with a 2-0 win over Togo while Niger finished second in Group A.

This means the Black Starlets will face yet another close neighbor in the competition in the game to be played on Wednesday.

Niger will face Nigeria in the other semi final clash.

Only the winner of the WAFU Zone B tournament will qualify to next year’s U17 Africa Cup competition to be staged in Tanzania.
