President of AshantiGold SC Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has confirmed handing over his Lamborghini to a fan after the 3-2 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

Dr. Frimpong popolarly known as ‘Champion’ had pledged to give out one of his expensive automobiles if the Miners lose to Kotoko in the first leg of their friendly tie.

A brace from Sogne Yacouba and one otherl from Wahab Adams was enough to hand Kotoko a thrilling win over their regional rivals who scored through Eric Donkor and Saddick Adams; both former Kotoko players.

After the game on Sunday, supporters of both teams were in the stadium waiting to see who Dr. Kwaku Frimpong will give the car to.

Dr. Frimpong confirmed handing his Lamborghini to the Executive Chairman of Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei and fulfilling his end of the pre-game bargain.

“I have given my Lamborghini to Dr. Kyei pending documentations”, Ashgold Chairman Dr. Kwaku Frimpong confirmed on Fox FM.

The return leg of the friendly tie dubbed ‘the Golden Clash’ will be played on Sunday in Obuasi.
