FIFA/CAF LIAISON TEAM WISHES BLACK STARS AND STARLETS WELL
The FIFA/CAF Liaison Team sends its goodwill messages to the Senior National Football team, the Black Stars of Ghana as well as the Male U-17 Team, the Black Starlets.
As the Black Stars engage Kenya in the 2019 African Cup of Nations Cup qualifier in Nairobi, whilst the Starlets clash with Togo in the WAFU U-17 African U-17 Championship in Niger today, we are of the conviction that both teams are adequately prepared to ensure victory.
It is imperative that we win these matches to place Ghana in a better position to qualify for both tournaments. On behalf of the people of Ghana, His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo sends his felicitations through the Liaison Team and wishes you the best of luck.
The Liaison Team urges you to be focused and demonstrate a sense of unity and discipline to make yourselves and our country proud in achieving the ultimate. Even as you battle for victories in your respective games, rest assured that the whole of Ghana is behind you in prayers.
