Dreams FC has confirmed the transfer of winger Rashid Sani to Spanish club Girona FC.
The Ghana Premier League club confirmed the move on Wednesday evening following the player’s successful medical.
Sani joins Girona on a season-long loan agreement with an option to extend for a further year.
A statement on the Dreams FC website read: “Dreams FC wishes to announce that it has successfully completed the transfer of Abdul Rashid Sani to Girona Futbol Club, S.A.D.
“The transfer is on a one-year loan basis with an option to extend for a further year.
“This move was done before the transfer deadline in Spain but was made official on Wednesday after the player successfully underwent a mandatory medical.”
The 18-year-old played for Dreams FC’s youth team, Still Believe before gaining promotion to the first team two seasons ago.
He is best remembered for his magical solo goal against Accra Young Wise in the 2016/17 Division One League campaign – a goal that earned him a nomination in the maiden Ghana Football Awards.
