The team crushed out of the Confederation Cup with a win-draw-lose record of 1-1-4.

The Ghanaian champions were battered 6-0 by Raja Casablanca on August 29 on the last day of the Confederation Cup group phase and manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi will not continue in his role.

After lifting the Ghana premier league title in October last year following a 30-game season , the Ogya side entered the Champions league in February this year playing and eliminating Al-Tahady of Libya before falling to Algerians ES Setif.

The team dropped to the Confederation Cup and were put in the same group as Raja Casblanca, AS Vita and ASEC Mimosas.
