Ghanaian midfielder George Dwubeng scored on his Politehnica Iasi debut in their 10-thrashing of Vasliu in the Romanian U19 league.

The 18-year-old who joined the Romanian club last month scored a belter in the second half to mark a memorable debut.

Dwubeng arrived from Ghana Premier League club Dreams FC on a two-year loan stint.

The teenager is hoping to progress quickly from the junior ranks and make it into the first team.

He is best remembered in Ghana for his last minute goal in Dreams FC 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko in the first of this season’s domestic league competition.
