Aduana Stars captain, Yahaya Mohammed has debunked reports that his players were affected with food poison ahead of their clash against Raja Casablanca.
Prior to the game in Morocco, news emerged that Aduana Stars were hit with food poison at the eve of the game which many said was the reason why they were trashed by 6 goals to nil by the Moroccan side, but Yahaya Mohammed has denied it and said they went into the game with a mentality.
“We went into to the game with a winning mentality but things did not work and it is not also strange for Aduana stars to lose to RAJA but maybe the only reason people will be complaining will be the score line (6 goals) and the kind of players we have in Aduana stars
“Anyone who will say our food (JOLLOF) was spoilt is a liar because our homeland food was the best for us under this situation, most of the boys had running stomach because of the change in environment” Yahaya Mohammed said in an interview with Fox FM.
