The former Medeama SC defender has apologized to the supporters of the Aduana Stars and Ghanaians following a 6-0 spanking the club suffered against Raja Casablanca last Wednesday.

“We are sorry for what happened .” Aidoo is quoted to have told Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.

The player also moved to rubbish reports that the team threw the game to the Moroccans.

“I have never bet in my playing career and how can I do that at the expense of a club that pays and feeds me. but all these accusations of betting are false , they are unfounded.” he added.

“We lost because there’s no football in Ghana which is making us lack match fitness that’s all”

“We just got to Dormaa and I am going straight to the Police Station to file a complaint because I have heard one of our supporters is accusing me of staking bet with this match.”
