Aduana Stars defender, Paul Aidoo has denied allegations by deputy Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars that he was involved in betting before their crucial game against Raja.
Agyemang Kwame Muller said in an interview with Nhyira FM that he saw both Paul Aidoo and Fatawu Mohammed placing bet prior to Aduana Stars’ crucial game against Raja Cassablanca but Paul Aidoo has denied and said he has never placed a bet in his playing career.
“I have never bet in my playing career and how can I do that at the expense of a club that pays and feeds me
“We lost because there’s no football in Ghana which is making us lack match fitness that’s all
“Another allegation is that our management sold the match, how can such a thing happen.
“We are sorry for what happened but all these accusations are false they are unfounded.
“We just got to Dormaa and I am going straight to the Police Station to file a complaint because I have heard one of our supporters is accusing me of staking bet with this match.
“It’s not true and I have never done this before” Paul Aidoo said in an interview with Oyerepa FM.
